Do you want your lips to have a perfect even colour and precise outline, that won’t ever smudge or bleed? It can give the appearance of fuller, thicker lips without adding filler/Botox. Lips also tend to shrink and thin as we get older, by going into the vermillion line and adding a crisp outline and colour that fullness you want can be achieved! Lasts 1-2 years!

Lip blushing will never be too dark or bold when healed. Think of it as more of a water colour affect, just tinting the lips. A customized pigment will be chosen based on skin tone and personal preference.

Very minimal pain, if any. I use numbing cream throughout and needle just grazes skin implanting the pigment.

  • On accuntane last 12 months

  • Botox, filller, laser treatments around lips in last 4 weeks
  • Dry chapped flaky lips
  • Cold sores

Clients Pre-Care Instructions:

  • If you get cold sores you MUST get anti-viral medication (Valtrex, Zovirax ) from the pharmacist and follow directions they give for before and after your appointment. If you do not take - you could a get a cold sore from this procedure and the pigment implanted will not stay and you will be left with uneven lip colour.
  • Make sure your lips are nice and hydrated. I CAN NOT work on chapped, flaky lips. I will have to reschedule your appointment if this is the case. :(
  • Drink lots of water and give them a gentle exfoliation a couple days before. I love Aquaphor as lip balm! Works amazing and you can get it at shoppers, online etc you can also use this as aftercare.
  • No Botox or Fillers around mouth area for 1 month
  • No alcohol, ibuprofen, fish oil, vitaminE 24 hours before appointment
  • Bring your favourite daytime lipstick with you to colour match it!

Aftercare Instructions:

  • Do not let lips dry out. I will give you after care gloss to apply
  • No spicy or greasy food or red wine for 24 hours
  • Try not to smoke or vape until healed
  • No makeup on or near lips for 1 week
  • No picking, scratching, licking dry areas
  • No swimming, hot tubs, saunas for 5 days
  • No UV exposure or sun tanning beds for 5 days
  • No kissing or foreign bodily fluids around mouth area for 5 days
  • No face treatments around mouth for 1 month - laser, Botox, filler, facials, massage, exfoliants, retinols, acids
  • If there is swelling, it will subside within a few hours
